1. Reduce braking while driving

To reduce power consumption, tractor transport operations, minimise braking or no braking, so as to achieve the purpose of saving fuel.

2. Use two clutches

3. Don't use the throttle too much or too little during the work.

10. Maintain the air filter on time.

11. Lubricating oil should be sufficient

General engine oil sump oil should be added to close to the upper scale of the dipstick, but not more than the upper scale. At the same time to improve the oil purification, 

to ensure its quality.

12. Reduce the power loss of the transmission system

New or overhauled tractor, must be in accordance with the technical requirements of the break-in and test run before being put into production: the correct use of lubricants, 

winter and summer should be replaced with a different viscosity of the lubricant and to do the correct specifications of the brand, should also be regularly on the driveline for 

technical maintenance.

13. Correctly select the appropriate tyres

In order to give full play to the adhesion of tyres and soil, must choose the right tread pattern, while maintaining the appropriate height of the tread pattern, in order to reduce 

skidding.

14. Correctly adjust the clearance of the transmission system

The clearance of each transmission part of the locomotive must be standardised in order to reduce the power consumption during transmission; correctly adjust the clearance 

of the traction machine and the traction clearance, so as not to touch and not to be stuck in the work.

15. Eliminate fuel system oil leakage

Regularly test the technical status of the engine fuel system to prevent leakage, and also install oil return equipment.

16. Overhaul before operation

Into the operation of the machine, the technical state must be good. The transmission wheel of agricultural implements should use V-belt pulleys compatible with V-belts to 

avoid slipping, which will invariably lead to increased fuel consumption.

17. Transfer switch winter and summer installation should be correct

Some tractor lubrication system is designed with a temperature transfer switch, temperature transfer switch end cap has an arrow. Oil filter wall, ‘winter’ ‘summer’ two 

words, such as 4125A diesel engine conversion temperature of 278K (open). Therefore, the winter head must point to ‘winter’, summer head must point to ‘summer’. 

Otherwise, it will affect the normal temperature of the engine and increase fuel consumption.
